Nationality: Australian / British An Actor's Journey John commenced his working career as an Australian Infantry Soldier. On leaving the Army he pursued an Acting career. His career was launched internationally by the Australian Television award winning soaps, Home & Away and Neighbours. John gained critical acclaim & notoriety for his powerful performances as Oliver Mellors in D.H Lawrence's Premiere Production of Lady Chatterley's Lover; and Donald Watt in the premiere of The Singing Forest. Don Watt was an Australian real life hero and the only Soldier known who was interned into the Nazi death camp Auschwitz to stoke the ovens. Morris continues his streak performing in film playing a variety of roles ranging from the sinister drug overlord Kyass in Verite; an Assassin in the award winning short film Safe House, which was selected into the prestigious 61st Cannes Film Festival Short Corner. A Roman Centurion Gaius Crastinus, in the time fantasy The Julian Paradox; Miles in the comedy Ricky - The Movie; Ajay in The Dream Children and the Doctor Phillip Berridge in Surviving Georgia. John is also cast in forthcoming feature films; Colour of Fear; Hit Men Don't Dig and The Cruise. With an impressive background on stage & film one is astounded by his versatility both in front and behind the scenes as Morris is now establishing himself as a Producer. Morris is always seeking challenges and after his executive producing success with Safe House, produced the controversial film The Dream Children dealing with same sex marriage. He now enters into a new phase and as Co Founder, recently launched the World Film Federation based in Dallas Texas, which is set to revolutionise the global film market.
