Set in a surreal world where dialogue is lyrical, painted with new-english monologues and sleep deprivation amidst a newly-woven shakespearean-style tragedy, we follow the journey of Verite, a lowly pizza delivery girl in her quest for something more. When the young daughter of a powerful underworld figure Kyass (JOHN MORRIS) stows away in Verite's car, an unlikely friendship is formed. But before Verite can convince the girl that life is worth living, she must first convince herself. This transformation from a self-absorbed state to a visual crescendo of selflessness, will eventually lead to a most luridly, tragic sacrifice. One that will forever still Verite's poetic and insatiable hunger for equilibrium...
